The IOBC-WPRS working group “GMO’s in integrated plant production” aims to present a platform for exchange of research results and to stimulate collaborative projects dealing with genetically modified plants, their potential impact on the environment, and their role in integrated production systems. The working group organizes a meeting every second year and the proceedings are published in the IOBC-WPRS Bulletin:

The meetings are usually attended by 50-100 scientists from the public sector, regulatory agencies, and the private sector. Attendants from Europe, the Mediterranean, Middle East, and the rest of the world are welcome to attend the upcoming meeting held at the AgroBio Institute in Sofia, Bulgaria, 1-3 June, 2015.

To ensure a good coverage of the different aspects related to the working group's activity a programme committee has been established:

        - Yann Devos / European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), Parma, Italy
        - Stefan Rauschen / Forschungszentrum Juelich, Juelich, Germany
        - Nora Eckermann / Bayer Crop Science, Monheim, Germany

The meeting is limited to a maximum of 100 participants. We encourage participants to apply for oral and poster presentations by submitting an abstract (title, authors, abstract, contact). The conference language will be English. We encourage in particular students to participate actively at the meeting by submitting abstracts. For a limited number of students, IOBC-WPRS will provide financial support to enable them to attend the meeting. More information on the registration page.
